Quynh Nguyen Forss was five years old when her family fled Vietnam. They resettled in Colorado.

She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder. Quynh worked at television stations across the country for nearly fifteen years as a reporter and producer. She earned three Emmy Awards for her work in the industry. She worked at TV stations in Rochester, Minnesota; Norfolk, Virginia; and Denver, Colorado.

Quynh lives in Colorado with her husband, Matt. They have two children, Madison and Joshua.
